NCM does Las Vegas Memorial Day Weekend

Jun 08, 10 NCM does Las Vegas Memorial Day Weekend

Ok so we’ve just got back from Las Vegas (well we got back 3 days ago but still in recovery so apologies for any spelling mistakes)

If you was lucky enough to be there for Memorial Day weekend, you will probably also still be in recovery from the mayhem that happened over there.

Apart from the hour long check in lines and difficulty in finding a bed at your hotel pool, the weekend was amazing.

No matter where you were you was over the 3 days, you were always no more than a stone throw away from a celebrity appearance. Whether it was Pitbull at Mandalay Bay, Snoop at Ceasers or Pauly D at Palms, you were always ready to party.

NCM made it to Shaggy performing at Pure Nightclub on the Saturday night and after fighting the crowds like you was back in the Roman era, you were greeted by a packed out crowd to see Shaggy tearing it up on stage with his good friend Rayvon.

After 2 songs, NCM found it difficult to stand so shot upstairs to chill out on the roof terrace with a Grey Goose and 7Up.

Pure nightclub is situated inside Ceasers Palace and offers a choice of different areas including the main room, the Pussycat Dolls Lounge, and the incredible roof terrace overlooking the Las Vegas Strip.

Pure is always a NCM favourite.

Love Festival
On the second day of the weekend, NCM made it over to the Palms to catch Jersey Shore’s Pauly D representing his Italian Heritage in his Ralph Lauren Polo T-Shirt and Italian themed Mac Book.

We were greeted by a fantastic VIP host and escorted all the way to our private Cabana overlooking the pool and Dancefloor.

Our private hostess and security for the evening was then introduced to us while we ordered our beverages to enjoy.

Pauly-DAn hour or so later Jersey Shore’s Pauly D made his way to stage to spin the music for our enjoyment, and he tore it up.

From our balcony we enjoyed his classic audio drops which then led into a fabulous house set which got us all dancing.

We did try to blag a picture for NCM but my Jedi Mind Trick failed me once again. :-(

The show continued till the early hours with no sign of the crowd giving up partying, but as the night drew to a close we said good night to our host, security and our new friends in the cabana next to us and made our way back to Ceasers Palace for some well earned sleep.

Pauly-D Love Festival The Palms is located just off the strip and has Ghost Bar, Moon bar, the Playboy Club and Rain all within the complex of the hotel.

If you are heading to Vegas don’t forget to check out Ghost bar for great views of Vegas.

The staff are extremely professional, friendly and always willing to help

Other events we experienced was Snoop Dogg performing at the Venus Pool Club during the Saturday afternoon which saw the crowd going mental as he dropped classic tracks such as Next Episode and What’s my Name.

For anyone planning to go to Las Vegas, make sure you follow these steps:

Step 1
Prepare before you go, there is a website called where you can get all the contacts needed for reservations, guestlists and table bookings, as well as reads reviews of all the clubs.

Step 2
Work out where you want to go each evening, that way your not left at the mercy of people on the street telling you where to go

Step 3
Don’t think it’s like film The Hangover, the clubs are very professional and only want the best clientele in their clubs. If you rock up with a tooth missing and a baby strapped in, you may have problems.
Not to say that don’t want people who know how to party, just make sure when you get to the door you act as sober as possible

Step 4
Tipping goes a long way in Vegas. If you have a hostess for the night, its always nice to offer a tip as it makes the night run a bit more smoothly and it guarantees you will get your drinks quicker

Step 5
Have fun and watch your budget.
